Real Estate attorney Miriam Soler Ramos was featured in a Q&A with VoyageMIA about her career in law and path to Holland & Knight. Ms. Ramos shared that her professional journey began at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, followed by a decade at the Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics & Public Trust. The experience gained as a young lawyer in these agencies helped propel her into new roles as Deputy City Attorney and later City Attorney for the City of Coral Gables, Florida. At Holland & Knight, she focuses her practice on land use and zoning, local government procurement and local government ethics. Outside the office, she serves on boards for multiple local organizations, including several committees of The Florida Bar.
Reflecting on her career trajectory, she said, "No road is perfectly smooth, but I have been fortunate to have had a relatively smooth career path, largely due to sound advice from committed mentors and the courage to take calculated risks when opportunities have presented themselves."
