MEXICO CITY (September 15, 2015) – Holland & Knight assisted Mexico's INFONACOT (Instituto del Fondo Nacional para el Consumo de los Trabajadores), a government consumer-lending agency for workers, in a $1 billion pesos (approx. US$60 million) AAA-rated securities issuance on the Mexican Stock Exchange as a part of its $10 billion pesos debt program.
The issuance was successfully placed on Sept. 10 by Actinver Casa de Bolsa and BBVA Bancomer in a volatile environment due to the possibility of interest rate changes by the by the Federal Reserve and Banco de México.
The Holland & Knight team included Mexico-based Partners Alejandro Landa Thierry and Boris Otto and Associates Adrián Cabrero and Armando Figueroa.
