Corporate and Private Equity Attorney Alvin Johnson Joins Holland & Knight in Atlanta

ATLANTA (September 14, 2021) – Holland & Knight has expanded its nationally recognized Private Equity Team with the addition of Alvin Johnson as partner in the firm's Atlanta office. Mr. Johnson represents private equity firms and the world's leading companies in a wide variety of domestic and cross-border transactions. He was previously with DLA Piper.

Mr. Johnson earned a J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law and B.A. and MBA degrees from Florida A&M University.

Mr. Johnson is the latest of several key hires to join Holland & Knight's private equity practice since January, including Partners Jeffery Bell and Christopher Froelich in New York; Partners Enrique Conde and Jordan Schneider in Miami; Partner Ryan Jackson in Chicago; Partner Eric Rubin in Philadelphia; Partner Olesya Bakar and Senior Counsel Daniel Levisohn in Washington, D.C.; Partners Bryan Gadol and Wendy Kottmeier in Orange County, Calif.; and Partner Rebecca Wilsker in Boston. The firm also welcomed a dozen private equity attorneys in Texas after its recently completed merger with Thompson & Knight in August.
