Overview

Andrea Iturbide Maldonado is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Mexico City office. Ms. Iturbide focuses her practice on a variety of tax matters.

Ms. Iturbide advises clients on how to duly comply with legal tax provisions, support their transactions, and prepare for and avoid future contingencies. She also defends her clients' rights as Mexican taxpayers.

Ms. Iturbide represents clients before local and federal tax authorities with regard to tax assessments, audits, administrative appeals, settlements and mutual agreement procedures. She is also experienced in negotiating between the tax authority and taxpayers before the PRODECON (Mexican Taxpayers' Ombudsman).

In addition, Ms. Iturbide has earned a certificate in Constitutional Challenges from Mexico's Supreme Court of Justice.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight in her current role, Ms. Iturbide was a law clerk in the firm's Mexico City office.
