Mr. McNamara's practice includes representing owners, developers, contractors and design professionals in transactions, project advisory services and disputes. His transactional experience includes the drafting and negotiation of architecture, design, design-build, construction management and contractor agreements, as well as systems commissioning agreements and adjacent property license and access agreements. Mr. McNamara also represents clients in complex construction litigation, including actions related to damage and delay claims, New York labor laws, payment and lien disputes, and premises liability.

Prior to and during law school, Mr. McNamara worked as a commissioning engineer for a leading global engineering firm. This experience instilled in him a deep understanding of the intricacies of construction projects, which is an invaluable asset when dealing with construction law matters. Mr. McNamara's engineering background enables him to effectively communicate with clients, contractors and industry experts, bridging the gap between technical complexities and legal solutions.
