Overview

Andrew Montgomery is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Nashville office who advises private equity firms on the placement of capital, fund formation and operational matters. This includes preparing private placement memorandums and ancillaries and assisting with carried-interest arrangements. He also advises early-stage companies in entity formation and structure, prepares governing documents and serves as counsel on local, state and federal corporate filings.

In addition to working with private equity firms and emerging companies, Mr. Montgomery has experience in mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions, including commercial real estate acquisitions and related purchase agreements. He has also handled executive compensation and termination matters.

Previously, Mr. Montgomery served as an associate for The Advisory, PLLC. Prior to that, he worked as a Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) Agent for VC Sports Group where he researched, analyzed and formulated baseball arbitration cases and advised on player contracts and company agreements.
