Overview

Vlad Popik is a financial services attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office. Mr. Popik focuses his practice in the area of public finance, with a particular concentration on public debt offerings. Mr. Popik has worked as bond counsel, bank counsel, borrower's counsel and disclosure counsel for numerous bond offerings.

Mr. Popik also represents financial institutions, corporate borrowers and project developers in connection with complex cross-border and domestic project financings, with an emphasis on energy and infrastructure.

In addition, Mr. Popik's practice includes real estate finance experience representing institutional lenders, commercial banks and other financial institutions in secured lending transactions, including acquisition, construction and permanent loans, secured credit facilities and the participation and syndication of loans.

Mr. Popik also helps clients pursue and navigate the vast array of clean technology-related opportunities. He assists clients in obtaining government, non-dilutive funding in excess of $100 million, loan guarantees and conditional commitments in excess of $1 billion, and achieving complex policy and legislative objectives.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Popik was a tax associate at a national law firm concentrating on public finance and a senior tax consultant at a Big Four accounting firm.
