23rd National Congress of Energy Law 2023

Energy attorneys Milton Montoya and José Vicente Zapata will participate in the 23rd National Congress of Energy Law 2023 event organized by Universidad Externado de Colombia. Mr. Montoya will moderate a panel titled “Regulatory functions of the Congress of the Republic, President, Ministry and Regulatory Commissions, in matters of public services of electric energy, gas and fuel distribution.”

Mr. Zapata will participate in two panels. In the first panel, he will discuss the energy sector, more specifically, new dispute settlement mechanisms in this sector. In the second panel, Mr. Zapata will moderate a discussion that will explore the question, "Are there regulatory barriers to the formation of energy communities?"
