Geotechnical Issues

Construction attorney Gregory Meeder and litigation attorney Megan Schmid will co-present during the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on Construction Law 2024 Regional Meeting. The conference, with a theme of "Infrastructure from the Ground Up," will take place in four different cities across the United States. Mr. Meeder and Ms. Schmid will speak on geotechnical engineering and its application in construction law, particularly in the context of infrastructure projects. They will cover topics including soil properties and testing methods and excavation support and pavement design, along with legal and contractual considerations ranging from the role of geotechnical engineers to limitations on liability and typical contract disputes.
