A Primer for Government Contractors on the SBA's Recent Final Rule: Understanding the Key Impacts
Holland & Knight Webinar

On January 16, 2025, the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) recent Final Rule became effective. Although the title of the rule references "HUBZone Program Updates," the Final Rule made wide-ranging changes across a broad spectrum of SBA government contracting and socioeconomic programs.
In this webinar, attorneys from Holland & Knight's Government Contracts Group will provide a concise summary of the most impactful changes made by SBA and their practical impact on prime contractors, subcontractors and joint venture members who participate in small business and socioeconomic set-aside awards.
Topics will include:
- changes in the impact of size recertifications following merger & acquisition (M&A) transactions on future eligibility and goaling
- changes in requirements regarding mentor-protégé relationships and joint venture arrangements
- changes in negative controls minority investors may have regarding decisions involving extraordinary events
- changes impacting the 8(a) Program
- changes impacting the HUBZone Program
We hope you can join us for this insightful presentation.
