Healthcare and data privacy attorney Shannon Hartsfield will speak at The Florida Bar Health Law Section's 2026 Health Law Forum. This program, split into two tracks focused on the board certification review process and general health law updates, will feature presentations on topics ranging from Stark Law and the Anti-Kickback Statute to False Claims Act (FCA) enforcement to compliance program structure to physician practice management. Ms. Hartsfield will lead two sessions: one providing an overview of regulations on privacy and confidential information, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and rules on medical records, and one exploring trends in ethics and artificial intelligence (AI), including responsible AI use and emerging legal ethics themes.
