The CUSMA Review: Modernizing North American Trade for the Next Decade
Mission to Washington on CUSMA, Manufacturing and Supply Chains, Canadian Chamber of Commerce
Senior Policy Advisors Lizeth Cordova and Peter Tabor will participate in the Canadian Chamber of Commerce's Mission to Washington on CUSMA, Manufacturing and Supply Chains, where senior Canadian and U.S. policy makers and business leaders will meet to examine the current state of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USCMA or CUSMA) and explore solutions to boost productivity and strengthen trade relations. Ms. Cordova will moderate a panel featuring Mr. Tabor on the upcoming USMCA review. Speakers will cover regulatory realignment, dispute resolution, labor mobility and trade facilitation as core competition issues, with a focus on modernization mechanisms that meet the needs of manufacturers and supply chains. The debate will also encompass what currently works in the agreement framework and where improvements can bolster North America's economic integration.
