Minimum Wage Increase Could Boost Federal Contractor Employee Retention, says Government Contract Lawyer

Government Contracts attorney Eric Crusius spoke with Government Matters about a new White House executive order which will increase the federal contractor minimum wage by 50%. Mr. Crusius notes that the increase could help contracting companies "retain employees" if contractors can pass the cost onto the government. Mr. Crusius advises agencies to ensure they have the necessary clauses in their contracts initially to secure "the price adjustment from the federal government."
