Holland & Knight's Quantum Computing Team hosted a conference titled "Quantum Computing: Present and Future." The event featured U.S. Rep. Jay Obernolte, chair of the House Subcommittee on Research and Technology, and Paul Johnson, President of the Colorado School of Mines, which houses one of the nation's top quantum engineering programs. Industry leaders from D-Wave, Google Quantum AI, IonQ, Quantinuum, Quantum Catalyzer and Quantum Coast Capital, along with experienced attorneys, participated in panel discussions and a fireside chat covering the latest in quantum computing technology, policy, and legal issues, as well as the implications of evolving artificial intelligence (AI) regulations.
