Post-Shutdown Cost Recovery for Government Contractors

Government Contracts attorneys Christian Nagel, David Black and Amy Fuentes hosted a discussion about cost recovery and other important considerations for federal contractors following the end of the government shutdown. They highlighted requests for equitable adjustments (REAs), when REAs are required to be considered and paid under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), cost allowability, best practices for preparing and submitting REAs, responses when REAs are denied or ignored and performance considerations following suspension or reduction of work during shutdown.
