There Are Good Things Happening at Some Russian Companies
Litigation attorney Alec Puig wrote a blog post on Russian business and the possibility Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) liability. In his post, Mr. Puig analyzes the best practices of the highest scoring companies from the Transparency International-Russia report that was released in January 2018 to access the efficacy of corporate anti-corruption programs in the country. However, he also notes that while these companies are proactive in their duties, the majority of the 200 Russian companies included in the report do not regularly conduct anti-corruption training for their own, or their subsidiaries', employees and executives.
