From “Cannabis Nation” to “AgTech Nation”

Israel Practice Co-Chair Meital Stavinsky wrote a brief overview on Israel’s increasing agriculture quality and productivity. In 2017 alone, Israel raised more money than China for agricultural-technological developments thanks to profitable sub-sectors, most recently medical cannabis. She examines how the U.S. could be on a similar trajectory to Israel with the passing of the recent Farm Bill and the legalization of hemp. Lastly, Ms. Stavinsky discussed how Israel is becoming a nation of innovation and investment.
