Holland & Knight Adds Emerging Biz Pro from Goodwin in LA

Corporate attorney Tim Poydenis was featured in a Law360 article where he discussed his addition to Holland & Knight’s Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group.

"Holland is at a super exciting inflection point right now with the growth initiative that's going on," Mr. Poydenis said. "And being able to be an entrepreneur and pull that spirit through and help grow and scale the practice and the brand out in the West Coast is something that was incredibly exciting for me."

Mr. Poydenis will serve as the co-head of the Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practice at Holland & Knight. In addition, he spoke to Law360 about his experience working with clients in the technology sector and explained how both the venture and tech worlds are continuing to grow. 

"We saw unbelievable numbers in 2020 to '21, 2022 and the start of 2023," he said. "There's obviously some rockiness and a little trepidation from folks. But if you drill in at a granular level, a lot of that's just compressed valuations at later stages. There's still a lot of hot investment opportunities for early-stage companies and mid-stage companies. Folks are still inventing technology companies. Investors are still deploying capital. So [I] definitely see a lot of exciting work going forward."
