Crain's Chicago Business
Technology policy attorney Paul Stimers was quoted in a Crain's Chicago Business article about the potential real-world applications of quantum computing and how companies are already experimenting with this next-generation technology. The article highlighted examples such as Unisys' use of quantum computing to optimize cargo loading for logistics customers and the potential for quantum-driven optimization to significantly impact society in tasks like managing the energy grid and scheduling package deliveries. Mr. Stimers pointed to logistics as another example of a seemingly mundane area where optimization could have major implications.
