Aviation Finance Attorney J.C. Ferrer Joins Holland & Knight in Miami

MIAMI (February 5, 2014) – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that aviation finance partner J.C. Ferrer has joined the firm's Financial Services and Latin America practice groups in Miami. Mr. Ferrer represents lenders, lessors, airlines, aircraft manufacturers, publicly-held and private companies, and high-net-worth individuals in connection with the purchase, sale and finance (including lease finance) of private and commercial aircraft.

Mr. Ferrer also has extensive experience in single lender and syndicated corporate and commercial lending transactions involving assets other than aircraft, as well as cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions Mr. Ferrer, who was previously a partner with K&L Gates, is fluent in Spanish and frequently handles cross-border transactions.

Mr. Ferrer is a member of the National Aircraft Finance Association and the National Business Aviation Association. He currently serves on the executive council of The Florida Bar's Business Law Section and on its Legal Opinion Standards Committee.
