Holland & Knight Advises Banco Multiva on Loans to Mexican State of Baja California

MEXICO CITY (July 1, 2021) – Holland & Knight Partner Alejandro Landa Thierry and Associate Rosa María Cuevas advised Banco Multiva on two loans to the Mexican State of Baja California through the Ministry of Finance (Secretaría de Hacienda) of an aggregate amount of MXN$1 billion (approximately US$50 million). The transactions closed on June 11. 

In the past several years, Holland & Knight has represented Banco Multiva on loans to several other Mexican States, such as Chihuahua, Sonora, Quintana Roo, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Veracruz and Morelos and to the country's federal Stabilization Fund.
