Holland & Knight Advises G Squared Capital Partners on Sale to Piper Sandler

TYSONS, Va. (September 16, 2025) – Holland & Knight advised G Squared Capital Partners, a premier boutique investment bank specializing in government services and defense technology, on its sale to Piper Sandler Companies (NYSE: PIPR). The deal signing occurred August 1, and closing was announced on September 15.

Founded in 2020 by Greg Nossaman and Greg Woodford, G Squared has helped complete 50 transactions since then, including nine so far this year. Holland & Knight has represented and been primary legal counsel to G Squared since its formation.

Piper Sandler is a global investment bank and financial services company headquartered in Minneapolis. The transaction allows Piper Sandler to add dedicated coverage of the rapidly growing government services and defense technology markets.
