Alejandro A.   • Assisted an international mining and petroleum company in a $10.5 billion dollar divestment of its onshore U.S. oil and gas assets
  • Representation of a shopping center in the negotiation of mezzanine and bank financing in excess of $1.7 billion pesos
  • Assisted the world’s biggest listed miner in a cash deal worth as much as $320 million for the sale of a copper mine in Chile
  • Represented a wind farm in the $186 million acquisition of wind turbines and the negotiation of its full-service agreement for a project in Parras, Coahuila, Mexico
  • Assisted a Mexican and U.S. customs broker in the potential sale of their business to one of the largest customs brokers in North America
  • Represented a biotech and agribusiness company in the design and implementation of joint venture alternatives to attract potential investors to help in the acquisition of real estate assets
  • Represented a major wind developer in the sale of a 120MW wind farm as well as the structuring of its power sales agreements, lease agreements, right-of-way agreements, and shareholders agreements
  • Represented a foreign agent of a bank syndicate in the out of court restructuring involving $3.1 billion pesos of debt
  • Assisted a Mexican telecom company with an exchange offer of notes and a new issuance of senior secured bonds worth a combined US$151 million
  • Counsel to a prominent multinational involved in agrobiotechnology, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, agribusiness, and pharmochemical industries in the strategy, developing, and leveraging the value of their technology and other IP assets
  • In charge of the day-to-day corporate affairs of privately held companies and documenting diverse commercial agreements
  • Represented a private university in an overhaul of its intellectual property practices and policies
  • Represented a biotech company in a joint venture focused on the development of proprietary germplasm to improve plant and animal breeding
  • Assisted a major Mexican Bank in establishing a licensing framework for their software
