Government Contracts attorneys David Black and Amy Fuentes will participate in a webinar hosted by the National Contract Management Association's (NCMA) Boston Chapter providing federal contractors with strategies for success under the Trump Administration. Each administration comes into office with its own set of policies and priorities, and the second Trump term has seen contract terminations, federal employee layoffs, new information technology (IT) and cybersecurity requirements, and increased supply chain costs stemming from tariffs and trade policy. All of these updates affect how contracts and subcontractors should approach federal procurement. During this webinar, Mr. Black and Ms. Fuentes, alongside Aprio Advisory Group Partner Eric Poppe, will outline steps to take when responding to a contract termination, including how to prepare an effective Termination Settlement Proposal or Request for Equitable Adjustment; review the rules for employment recruiting, negotiations and hiring when it comes to current and former federal workers; break down the new Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program and its implementation; and explain how to request price adjustments to recover supply chain costs.
