The FIRRMA Act: What Israeli Investors and Companies Need to Know
In a a blog post for Times of Israel, Co-Chair of the firm's Israel Practice Meital Stavinsky discusses how Israeli companies may be impacted by the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act (FIRRMA). FIRRMA aims to improve the review process of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS), an interagency committee which reviews transactions involving foreign investment in the U.S. to determine its effect on national security. This change could present possible CIFUS implications for Israeli companies going through mergers and acquisitions or private placement.
