OMB Issues Extensive Revisions to the Uniform Guidance

Attorneys Christian Nagel, Kara Ward and Kelsey Hayes co-authored an article in Pratt's Government Contracting Law Report outlining the newly revised Office of Management and Budget Guidance for Grants and Agreements. The revisions became effective Nov. 12, 2020, and most aim to encourage the use of performance-based metrics and practices to achieve program goals and objectives while lessening the compliance burdens on federal awarding agencies and recipients. Other sections implement statutory updates and clarify authoritative requirements. In their article, the authors address some of the most noteworthy changes.
