The Case for Space Arbitration: Can You Recover Damages Caused by Space Collisions?
International Arbitration and Litigation attorney Laura Yvonne Zielinski wrote an article for Space News about space collisions and dealing with disputes related to objects in orbit. As outer space becomes available to more private parties, the substantial risks for contractual disputes increase. Ms. Zielinski says that for private parties, there is no dispute resolution mechanism capable of efficiently addressing these issues in national courts.
