These Law Firm Leaders Are Optimistic About 2025, Citing Deal Pipeline, International Business
Holland & Knight's chair and CEO, Robert Grammig, was featured in a Daily Business Review article previewing what kind of work 2025 could bring for law firms under a new administration expected to create a pro-business environment. Mr. Grammig explained the firm's International Trade Group saw an uptick in activity under the previous Trump Administration and suggested a similar trend might occur again. He also explained that, despite the possibility of new tariffs, Holland & Knight's Mexico and Latin America practice groups remained poised to weather any hiccups in regional activity and continue advising clients on nearshoring and other matters. Additionally, Mr. Grammig commented, the firm has positioned itself to take advantage of opportunities in the defense and public policy sectors.
"We think we're very well placed to take advantage of the needs of the defense industry, whether it's the regulatory and lobbying side in Washington, whether it's doing M&A, whether it's dealing with all the cyber issues that are out there, or even things like real estate: acquisitions of land to build facilities near military installations. It's across the board," he said.
