Healthcare Transactions Partner Kristin Ornstein Joins Holland & Knight in Dallas
DALLAS (April 13, 2026) – Holland & Knight has bolstered its Healthcare Transactions Team with the addition of Kristin Ornstein as a partner in Dallas. Ms. Ornstein, a multifaceted private investment funds and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) attorney, was previously a member with Dykema Gossett PLLC.
Ms. Ornstein represents private equity sponsors, institutional investors, asset managers, family offices and established businesses in connection with complex fund formations and sophisticated M&A transactions across healthcare and a range of other highly regulated industries. Her practice reflects the full scope of the private capital life cycle, from initial fund structuring through portfolio company acquisitions, growth and exit.
Ms. Ornstein has spent her career counseling clients on the formation and structuring of large-scale private investment funds, as well as complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and strategic investments involving leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, carve-outs, joint ventures and roll-up strategies. She advises sponsors and asset managers on carried interest and management company economics, capital-raising matters and regulatory considerations, and has developed significant industry depth in healthcare, financial services, energy and natural resources, manufacturing, technology, transportation and data centers.

Ms. Ornstein earned a J.D. degree from the University of Houston Law Center, an MBA degree from the University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business and a B.A. degree from the University of Colorado Denver. She is admitted to practice in Texas and Colorado.
