Healthcare Regulatory & Enforcement Partner Kimberly Rai Joins Holland & Knight in New York
New York (May 28, 2026) – Holland & Knight continues to strengthen its Healthcare Regulatory & Enforcement Practice with the addition of Partner Kimberly Rai in New York. Ms. Rai's corporate and transactional practice focuses on advising healthcare clients on formation and governance matters, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, corporate restructuring and tax-exempt organization issues. She was previously counsel at King & Spalding.
Ms. Rai represents for-profit and non-for-profit hospitals, integrated healthcare delivery systems, academic medical centers, managed care organizations (MCOs), pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, management companies, nursing homes, charitable and religious organizations, and physician practices.

Ms. Rai regularly counsels healthcare industry clients on regulatory and compliance matters, including healthcare facility, pharmacy and laboratory licensure and certification, corporate practice of medicine restrictions, voluntary disclosures, and fraud and abuse laws. She also advises clients on regulatory and strategic matters critical to telehealth platforms and services, including implementing telehealth networks throughout the U.S. She began her career in-house as assistant general counsel at a renewable energy company.
