Overview
Dina McKenney is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Dallas office. Ms. McKenney focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, arbitration and appellate matters.
Ms. McKenney represents clients in multiple industries, including healthcare, retail, energy and real estate, and she has experience in a wide variety of cases involving antitrust, breach of contract, intellectual property (IP), fraud, antitrust, class action and trade secret disputes.
Ms. McKenney previously served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable David C. Godbey of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and for the Honorable Catherina Haynes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

- Representing an international energy company and various affiliates in a lawsuit that involves claims for fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, statutory violations and conspiracy
- Representing hospitals in class action lawsuits and appeals involving alleged violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA)
- Representing an international energy company in tax litigation
- Representing an entity and an individual in a partnership dispute litigation
- Representing a mining company in an arbitration proceeding and resulting confirmation proceeding
- Representing an international energy company and various affiliates in an arbitration before the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) that involves claims for breach of contract, fraud and statutory violations
- Providing trial support for appellate preservation, including preparing jury charges and post-trial motions
- Representing the prevailing party in an appeal of a motion to dismiss in an intellectual property dispute
- Representing the prevailing party in an appeal of the grant of summary judgment and entry of final judgment in class action litigation
- Representing the prevailing party in an appeal from a denial of motion to dismiss based on a mandatory forum-selection clause
- Representing a major healthcare company in litigation concerning allegations of monopolization based on use of restrictive covenants under the Sherman Act
- Representing a real estate franchise company in connection with class action claims alleging a conspiracy under the Sherman Act
- Representing a petrochemical company in litigation concerning Sherman Act violations and claims for breach of contract, business disparagement, tortious interference and trade secret misappropriation
- Representing a hospital system in a lawsuit involving claims under the Sherman Act and False Claims Act (FCA)
- Representing healthcare companies in connection with subpoenas received in antitrust litigation and administrative subpoenas issued by antitrust enforcement agencies
- Representing brand owners in enforcing intellectual property rights
- Representing a beverage brand in a trademark, trade dress and unfair competition lawsuit in the Western District of Texas
