IPAAQ/Holland & Knight Special Event on CPOM Restructuring

Healthcare attorneys John Arnold, Daniel Patten, Colbey Reagan and John Saran will serve as speakers for an event hosted by the Illinois Providers for ABA Access and Quality (IPAAQ) in Holland & Knight's Chicago office. The program will focus on restructuring and reorganizing to align with Illinois' corporate practice of medicine (CPOM) requirements. Geared toward applied behavioral analysis (ABA) providers, the program will feature two interactive panels: The first will be a "CPOM 101"-style presentation introducing attendees to the basic aspects of CPOM law and sharing what to know about restructuring ABA practices in Illinois, and the second will home in on clinical independence and compliance programs during the reorganization process. Panelists will cover what legal and operational factors affect CPOM alignment, how to maintain operational continuity and clinical quality during the transition and what Illinois-specific provisions business leaders should keep in mind. Concluding with a networking reception, the event will impart valuable guidance for ABA organizations operating in the Prairie State as they adapt to new obligations and an overall nationwide focus on CPOM regulation.
