Federal M&A Deals Stay Active Despite Market Uncertainty

Partner Adam August, who leads Holland & Knight's Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group for the Mid-Atlantic Region, was featured on a podcast episode hosted by Federal News Network about the current state of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in the government contracting sector amid budget uncertainty and shifting procurement priorities. He explained why strategic buyers remain active but highly selective, with due diligence focused on customer durability, compliance risks – False Claims Act (FCA), organization conflicts of interest (OCI) and cybersecurity – and national security reviews.
