Argentina Targets Corruption With Corporate Criminal Liability Law

Argentina recently enacted laws punishing criminal corporate activity in Argentina and abroad, which points to an increased interest in addressing and curtailing corruption in the region.
“The fight against corruption cannot succeed without holding corporations accountable for the corrupt practices of their officials, so Argentina’s statute is definitely a step in the right direction,” said Holland & Knight's Wifredo Ferrer.
