Holland & Knight Advises Related Ross on Acquisition and Financing of Boca Raton Innovation Campus
MIAMI (September 17, 2026) – Holland & Knight represented Related Ross in its acquisition of the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC), a 124-acre office campus in Boca Raton, Florida, and in securing acquisition financing from Ares Real Estate funds. The transaction was announced on September 10.
Located at 5000 T-Rex Avenue, BRiC spans more than 1.7 million square feet and is one of Boca Raton's largest employment centers. Originally developed for IBM as a research and development campus, BRiC has a deep history in technology as the campus where IBM created its first personal computer. Recent developments at the campus include D-Wave Quantum's selection of BRiC as its new corporate headquarters.
Related Ross will continue operating BRiC as an office and technology campus while advancing a long-term vision for the property. The acquisition gives the company a significant presence in Boca Raton and an opportunity to bring its experience developing mixed-use destinations to one of the city's most important commercial sites, at a time when the region is attracting companies across technology, finance and other high-growth industries.
Based in West Palm Beach, Florida, Related Ross is a real estate and lifestyle company investing in the long-term strength of South Florida's communities.
Holland & Knight's representation of Related Ross was led by Partners Shawn Amuial, Joe Dewey, Jessica Hoch and Ilana Strickon and Associate Eric Reissi.
