Lateral Attorney Testimonials

Holland & Knight has a deep commitment to its clients, and its lawyers share an earnest commitment to one another. I discovered very quickly that the firm focuses on building teams and that our partners are approachable, helpful people. Joining Holland & Knight allowed me to expand my government contracts M&A, securities and finance practice, and the firm’s cross border experience created the right environment to help me to initiate and grow with others our firm's Korea practice over the past two years.
As an Intellectual Property associate, I have had the opportunity to work with attorneys throughout the country on a wide variety of complex projects involving high technology clients. One of these projects involved serving six months as senior IP counsel for a leading integrated circuit design company. In this role, I worked side-by-side with the client, directly managing the company's patent portfolio and the work product of multiple law firms, while also gaining the benefit of interacting with the company's other attorneys and inventors. The opportunity to experience the law firm/client relationship from the client's perspective has been invaluable to my practice.
