'Diversified' Economy: How Law Firms Can Bank on Charlotte

Charlotte Executive Partner Tim Ryan was interviewed by the Daily Report about the city's cultural and economic growth throughout the past few years. Known for its major banking industry, Charlotte has become another epicenter for technology, entertainment and healthcare. Holland & Knight's Charlotte office has been a hub for financial services attorneys since opening in February 2016 and has high-caliber clients from various financial institutions. Mr. Ryan spoke about the city's economic diversification and development and why it appealed to the firm in opening an office there.

"It still has a strong financial services presence, but you’re seeing more Fortune 500 and Fortune 200 companies moving here," he said. "There is a lot more to offer in Charlotte, which was recently named one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States."
