Holland & Knight Recognized for Three Top Deals at 2021 M&A Atlas Awards

MIAMI (June 1, 2021) – Three transactions completed by Holland & Knight were named "Deals of the Year" at this year's M&A Atlas Awards, hosted by the Global M&A Network. The M&A Atlas Awards recognize the achievements of influential dealmakers and leaders, outstanding firms and the best-growth-delivering transactions of the year. The awards ceremony was held on May 26.

Audax Private Equity's strategic growth investment in Global Nephrology Solutions (GNS) was named the USA Growth Investment Deal of the Year (mid-market). Holland & Knight Partners David Barkus, Tammy Knight, Jordan Taylor and Melissa Wong represented GNS, one of the nation's leading physician-led nephrology organizations, in connection with the investment. Ms. Knight was also honored by Global M&A Network as a 2021 Top Woman Dealmaker.

Pacific Premier Bancorp's acquisition of Opus Bank was named the USA Corporate M&A Deal of the Year (large mid-market). Holland & Knight Partners Shawn Turner and Jeffrey Haas represented Pacific Premier Bancorp in the all-stock transaction, valued at approximately $745 million.

MarineMax's (NYSE: HZO) acquisition of SkipperBud's and its affiliate, Silver Sea Yachts, was named the USA Leisure & Lodging Deal of the Year. Holland & Knight Partners Bob Grammig and Alyse Latour represented MarineMax, the nation's largest recreational boat and yacht retailer, in the deal.
