Holland & Knight Advised M|C Partners in Equity Investment in Steel Root and C3 Integrated Solutions

BOSTON (November 17, 2022) – Holland & Knight represented M|C Partners in its substantial equity investments in Virginia-based C3 Integrated Solutions and Massachusetts-based Steel Root, two information technology (IT) and cybersecurity leaders that specialize in securing the nation's defense industrial base (DIB).

C3, a full-service IT provider specializing in cloud-based solutions including Microsoft 365 GCC High, and Steel Root, a cybersecurity services provider specializing in Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance, merged in connection with the investment from M|C Partners and will operate under the C3 Integrated Solutions name. The combined company will provide defense contractors end-to-end managed services that streamline the technical and administrative burden of regulatory compliance, offering comprehensive DIB solutions anchored around a CMMC-centric managed services platform.
