Holland & Knight Recognized for Top Deal at 14th Annual International M&A Advisor Awards
NEW YORK (July 12, 2023) – A transaction closed by Holland & Knight was named “M&A Deal of the Year” ($500MM - $1B) at this year’s Annual International M&A Advisor Awards, hosted by The M&A Advisor. Winners were announced on June 30.
In the winning deal, Holland & Knight represented MarineMax Inc. (NYSE: HZO), the world’s largest recreational boat and yacht retailer, on its acquisition of Island Global Yachting LLC (IGY Marinas), which owns and operates a collection of iconic marina assets and a yacht management platform in key global yachting destinations. The transaction involved the acquisition of marinas in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and 12 other jurisdictions on three continents.
