Navigating Trade, Investment and Immigration Laws: What Korean Companies Need to Know

Holland & Knight Webinar

A new trade deal between the United States and the Republic of Korea was signed on July 30, 2025. The agreement sets tariffs on most imports from Korea and includes a pledge from Korea for $350 billion in U.S. investments and $100 billion in energy product purchases. The deal creates opportunities in sectors such as shipbuilding, semiconductors and batteries, but U.S. laws on tariffs, foreign investment and immigration can present obstacles.

In this webinar, attorneys Jeremy Burkhart, Vinh Duong, Robert Friedman and Jina Shin of Holland & Knight's Korea Practice Team provide vital information that can help Korean companies navigate these rules successfully in the new trade and enforcement environment.
