Holland & Knight Advises Intermex in Approximately $500 Million Acquisition by Western Union
MIAMI (August 13, 2025) – Holland & Knight represented International Money Express Inc. (Intermex) (NASDAQ: IMXI) in its approximately $500 million sale to The Western Union Company (NYSE: WU), a global provider of cross-border, cross-currency money movement, payments and digital financial services. The transaction was announced on August 10.
Headquartered in Miami, Intermex's omnichannel money remittance services enable consumers to send money from the U.S., Canada, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and Germany to more than 60 countries.
