Holland & Knight Named USA Private Equity Law Firm of the Year, Honored with Four Deal of the Year Awards
NEW YORK (December 17, 2025) – Holland & Knight was recognized as the USA Private Equity Law Firm of the Year at this year's USA Middle Market and Global M&A Atlas Awards, hosted by the Global M&A Network. In addition, four transactions closed by the Firm's attorneys were recognized as "Deal of the Year" in their respective categories, and Partner Gloria Skigen was recognized as a "Top Dealmaker" in connection with Global M&A Network's Woman Leaders & Top Dealmakers awards series.
Holland & Knight advised Conduent Inc. (Nasdaq: CNDT), a global technology-led business solutions and services company, in the $240 million sale of its Casualty Claims Solutions business to MedRisk, which was named Global Strategic M&A Deal of the Year (Middle Market). The Firm's representation of Conduent was led by Partner Tammy Knight.
Holland & Knight also advised Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, a dental support organization and a portfolio company of The Beekman Group, in its sale to Comvest Private Equity, which was named USA Growth Equity Deal of the Year (Middle Market). The Firm's representation of Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry was led by Partners Eric Scalzo and Joshua Porte.
Another Holland & Knight representation was named USA M&A Deal of the Year (Lower Middle Market). A team led by Partners Alyse Latour and Tom McAleavey represented Jabil Inc. (NYSE: JBL), a global leader in design, manufacturing and supply chain solutions, in its acquisition of Mikros Technologies LLC.
Holland & Knight Partner Andrew McCune led the representation of Granite Creek Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm investing in the lower middle market, in its acquisition of Ritchie Industries Inc. The deal was named the USA Manufacturing Deal of the Year (Middle Market).
Ms. Skigen, a partner in Holland & Knight's Stamford, Connecticut, office, primarily advises investors in venture capital and private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and provides business advice for institutional investors and multinational corporations making direct minority investments (venture and private equity) and investments in private equity and venture funds. During her career, she has handled more than 125 venture capital transactions totaling more than $2 billion.
