Holland & Knight Advises Steampunk in Its Acquisition by Affiliates of The Veritas Capital Vantage Fund
TYSONS (August 6, 2026) – Holland & Knight represented McLean, Virgina-based Steampunk Inc., an information technology and digital services contractor that focuses on federal government clients, in its definitive agreement to be acquired by affiliates of The Veritas Capital Vantage Fund. The transaction was announced on August 4 and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
Following the close of the transaction, Veritas will merge Steampunk with existing portfolio company MetroStar Systems LLC. The combination will bring together MetroStar's deep artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation product expertise with Steampunk's user-centered delivery model approach, Design Intelligence®, to provide technology solutions with greater scale and speed.
