Holland & Knight Represents Kashiv Biosciences in $1.1 Billion Sale to Amneal Pharmaceuticals Inc.
NEW YORK (August 10, 2026) – Holland & Knight represented Kashiv Biosciences LLC, a vertically integrated biopharmaceutical company, in its $1.1 billion sale to Amneal Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: AMRX), a diversified, global biopharmaceutical leader focused on expanding access to affordable and innovative medicines. The transaction signed on April 21, 2026, and closed August 10, 2026.
Headquartered in New Jersey, Kashiv has numerous commercial and advanced clinical-stage assets and is among the few U.S.-based companies to both manufacture and receive marketing authorization for multiple biosimilars.
The transaction represents a significant combination in the rapidly expanding biosimilars market, bringing together Kashiv's sophisticated research, development and manufacturing capabilities with Amneal's established commercial platform. The acquisition creates a scaled, fully integrated, global biosimilars business positioned to capitalize on more than $300 billion of global biologic medicines expected to lose exclusivity throughout the next decade. The combined platform is expected to support multiple new biosimilar launches annually and expand patient access to high-quality and more affordable biologic medicines.
